Jennifer Schroer, RN, BSN

I’m Jen Schroer. As one half of the team running things at Vital Health Solutions, I wear a lot of hats. My main roles are Business Manager, clinic RN, and aesthetic injector.

After years spent in business administration and marketing, I changed course in my early 40’s to earn my nursing degree from St. John’s College of Nursing in Springfield, Illinois. I worked as an ICU nurse in both large trauma centers and small, rural hospitals.

I got involved in the startup phase of Kayla’s vision for a wellness clinic to help with some of the behind-the-scenes admin tasks. Our magical working chemistry led very quickly to my full-time commitment to building Vital Health Solutions alongside her.

A big part of my passion for the work of the clinic comes from my own post-menopausal experience with GLP-1 medications. I truly understand why our patients want to explore this therapy, and I love that I can offer insight from both a personal and clinical perspective.

I also love that I get to bring my background as a lifelong artist into the clinic. Transitioning into medical aesthetics felt like a totally natural progression for me. Combining my nursing experience and creativity to help people feel better about themselves… how cool is that?

My husband, Tim, and I live with our dog, Chip on a lake. Together, we have four grown kids, and share one grandbaby. I spend my free time with family, especially enjoying my role as a toddler Memaw. I love art of all kinds – making it and appreciating it.
